Fox Soccer Channel PL Fantasy Challenge
1. SPONSOR
The Fox Soccer Channel PL Fantasy Challenge ("Contest") is sponsored by Fox Soccer Channel LLC, 10201 W. Pico Boulevard, Building 103, Los Angeles, CA 90035, and STATS, Inc. 8130 Lehigh Ave., Morton Grove, IL 60053 (individually and collectively the "Sponsor").
2. ELIGIBILITY
Contest open only to legal residents of the United States of America (including Puerto Rico, but excluding Rhode Island). You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of August 1, 2007 to participate. The Contest is VOID where prohibited and outside of the United States of America. If existing local or state law prohibits the distribution and acceptance of cash prizes, then the winner will have the option to accept an alternate PL Fantasy Challenge prize of equal value. Excluded individuals may play the game and have their name noted in the standings but WILL NOT be eligible to receive any prizes. If you are selected as a winner but are not eligible to win any prizes, the prize will be awarded to the person with the next highest score in accordance with Sections 8 and 9 of these Official Rules.
Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives and their immediate family and/or household members of Sponsor, and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with this Contest are not eligible to win. Each user in the Contest must be the rightful owner or have authorized use of the e-mail account indicated by the user's e-mail address. Limit one (1) participant per valid e-mail address. However, a participant may purchase more than one team by paying additional Subscription Fee(s). In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the winner, the winner will be deemed to be the person in whose name the e-mail account is opened.
3. HOW TO ENTER
To enter, visit www.foxsoccer.com, click on the appropriate links and complete the "PL Fantasy Challenge" registration process. You must complete the online registration, with your legal first and last name and your current and valid e-mail address, in order to purchase a team. The Subscription Fee for the contest is US$39.99 for the Overall Contest Period ("Subscription Fee"). Payment of the Subscription Fee must be made online with a valid credit card. Payment in any other form (i.e., personal check, money order, etc.) is not allowed. STATS, Inc, acts as the administrator of the Contest. Sponsors reserve the right to alter, change or amend the Subscription Fee at any time during the Overall Contest Period (as defined below), provided, however, that at the time of any such alteration or amendment to the Subscription Fee , if any, current entrants who have already entered the Contest and paid the Subscription Fee will not be subject to pay any increase in the Subscription Fee nor will such current entrants be due a refund for any reduction in the Subscription Fee after their completed registration in the Contest.
You may enter/register for the Contest at any time during the Overall Contest Period, subject to these Official Rules.
4. CONTEST PERIOD/ DEADLINES
The Contest begins at 12:00 AM Pacific ("PT") on August 1, 2007, and ends at 2:00 AM PT on May 11, 2008 (the "Overall Contest Period"). The Contest will consist of thirty-eight (38) separate time periods in which Barclays PL soccer matches are scheduled to take place ("Contest Periods"). All Contest Periods are set forth in this Section 4, and will begin at 12:00 AM PT. Unless indicated otherwise, Contest Periods cover a seven (7) day period.

You may submit your line-up for a Contest Period, at any time prior to the applicable Deadline for Entry, as set forth in this Section 4. For example, for Contest Period 1, any entries and/or changes made to a line-up prior to 2:00 AM PT on August 11, 2007 will be valid for the games scheduled for August 11, 2007 through August 13, 2007. You may subsequently change your line-up for an upcoming Contest Period as long as that change is received by the applicable Deadline For Entry, as set forth in this Section 4. For example, for Contest Period 2, if you modify your original line-up by selecting eleven (11) new players prior to 2:00 AM PT on August 14, 2007, then these eleven (11) new players would constitute your line-up for the Contest Period 2. If no line-up changes are made during a Contest Period, your line-up from the prior Contest Period will be carried over to the current Contest Period.
5. HOW TO PLAY
Once registered, you may enter the Contest by first selecting a team name and then submitting a eleven (11) player squad from the list of players located in the "Transfer Player" section online, which is your entry. The 'playing' line-up must consist of one of three (3) formations listed below. No more than three (3) players from the same team can be selected in any Contest Period. If a player is transferred during the season and this transfer takes you over the three (3) player maximum, then you will need to go back under the limit when making your next changes. Player position listings are final and will not change during the course of the Contest. Players can only play in their designated positions. Players may be traded only for another player of the same position. You may buy and sell the same player as many times as you wish. Any player may be traded on-line free of charge. You cannot have one player in more than one spot in your line-up. Each player has been given a certain value. In order to participate in each Contest Period, each team squad must consist of no more and no less than eleven (11) players at the Deadline For Entry and the combined salaries for the eleven (11)players cannot exceed the salary cap of One Hundred Million U.S. Dollars (US$100,000,000) (the "Salary Cap"). Players may be traded only if the total salary after the trade does not exceed the Salary Cap. Each player's salary value is based on, and may change based on, their actual performance.
Each team line-up must consist of eleven (11) players from your squad to make up each Contest Period. Only starting or automatically substituted players will earn points for your team. These eleven (11) players can line up in a 3-4-3, 4-4-2, 4-3-3 formation.
Captains - You must nominate a member of your team to be captain. This player will be awarded double the number of points than he normally would have been awarded in that Contest Period. You can change your captain at any time; however, the change will not take affect until the next Contest Period. If your captain does not play, then the bonus will be lost. Another player will not takeover the captaincy in his place.
Leagues - Your team does not play matches against other teams. Rather, each team competes in a number of leagues, which are comprised as follows: the overall league involving all registered teams; a league for supporters of your favourite team (optional); and, private leagues with your friends and family (optional).
Registered users can create or join other registered users to compete against one another in a group. To create a group a user will be asked to create a group name that may be given to other registered users to join the group.
6. PLAYER TRADES/TRANSFERS
As a player, you can make an unlimited number of transfers before the start of each of the nine (9) game phases ("Game Phases"). During a Game Phase, each team can make up to six (6) transfers, which will take effect for the next Contest Period. Any trades made after that deadline will apply to the following Contest Period. The trading deadline for each Contest Period is listed in Section 4. Attempts to make trades which would result in the combined salaries for all players on a user's line-up to exceed the Salary Cap will be rejected. Users are limited to players which appear on the Contest site.

7. SCORING
Fantasy points will be allocated to each player for each game as follows:

Team selection
No more than three (3) players from the same team can be selected in any contest period
A "Hat Trick Bonus" is awarded if a player scores three (3) or more goals in one game. By way of example only, if a forward scores four (4) goals in one game he is awarded fifteen (15) points for each goal, plus an additional twenty (20) bonus points for a game total of seventy (80) points.
A "Clean sheet bonus" is awarded to goalkeepers, defenders and midfielders who play the entire game as well as conceding no goals while on the pitch. A player who has been sent off will not be eligible for any clean sheet points. To earn result points, a player must play at least one (1) minute.
Scores for each Contest Period are calculated based on the total number of points each player in the line-up earns in games actually played during that Contest Period. Contest Periods run from the dats listed above, but generally run Saturday through Friday. Scoring is based only on games actually played during each Contest Period. Scoring for games that are postponed will be counted in the Contest Periods during which the postponed games are actually played. All eleven (11) players in your line-up earn points for you during each Contest Period.
8. SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS
Overall Prize Winners: There will be one hundred (100) prizes awarded for the Overall Contest Period.
The Overall Prize Winners will be awarded to the eligible registered users with the most fantasy points based on the aggregate total of fantasy points from each registered user's best point totals for the Overall Contest Period. In the event there is a tie for the Overall Prizes, the prize will be awarded to the user with the highest single Game Phase score. If a tie still exists, the prize will be awarded to the user with the second highest single Game Phase score, etc., until the tie is broken. If a tie still exists after all single Game Phase scores have been compared, the tie will be broken using the following criteria in this order: (i) total points scored by defenders in all Game Phases; (ii) total points scored by midfielders in all Game Phases; (iii) total points scored by forwards in all Game Phases; and (iv) total points scored by goalkeepers in all Game Phases. In the event that a tie still exists a random drawing will be held between the finalists. Odds of winning depend on your ability to select high performing players and the number of eligible entries received.
The Overall Winners will be determined on or about May 15, 2008 (the "Overall Winner Determination Date"). The Overall Winner will be notified by e-mail within ten (10) business days after the Overall Winners Determination Date. Winners will be required to respond to the attempted winner notification within two (2) business days of the date such notice was sent by Sponsor and, in such response, must confirm his/her full name, residential mailing address, phone number and date of birth to receive prize. Winners will be subject to verification. The failure to respond timely and completely to the winner notification (or failure to claim the prize) will result in forfeiture of the prize and Sponsor will select an alternative winner from among those remaining users in accordance with the selection process of this Section of these Official Rules. Any prize notification returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner from among those remaining users in accordance with the selection process of this Section of these Official Rules. By accepting the prize, winner grants permission to the Sponsor to use his/her name and/or likeness for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. If requested by Sponsor, winner agrees to sign and return an Official Release within ten (10) days following the date the release is received by winner, before claiming the prize.
Mid-Season Prize Winners: There will be twenty-five (25) prizes awarded for the Mid-Season Contest Period.
The Mid-Season Prize Winners will be awarded to the eligible registered users with the most fantasy points based on the aggregate total of fantasy points from each registered user's best point totals for the 1st through 5th Game Phases as stipulated in Section 6. In the event there is a tie for the Mid-Season Prizes, the prize will be awarded to the user with the highest single Game Phase score. If a tie still exists, the prize will be awarded to the user with the second highest single Game Phase score, etc., until the tie is broken. If a tie still exists after all single Game Phase scores have been compared, the tie will be broken using the following criteria in this order: (i) total points scored by defenders in all Game Phases; (ii) total points scored by midfielders in all Game Phases; (iii) total points scored by forwards in all Game Phases; and (iv) total points scored by goalkeepers in all Game Phases. In the event that a tie still exists a random drawing will be held between the finalists. Odds of winning depend on your ability to select high performing players and the number of eligible entries received.

Winners will be subject to verification. The failure to respond timely and completely to the winner notification (or failure to claim the prize) will result in forfeiture of the prize and Sponsor will select an alternative winner from among those remaining users in accordance with the selection process of this Section of these Official Rules. Any prize notification returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner from among those remaining users in accordance with the selection process of this Section of these Official Rules. By accepting the prize, winner grants permission to the Sponsor to use his/her name and/or likeness for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Second Half-Season Prize Winners: There will be twenty-five (25) prizes awarded for the Second Half-Season Prize Contest Period.
The Second Half-Season Prize Winners will be awarded to the eligible registered users with the most fantasy points based on the aggregate total of fantasy points from each registered user's best point totals for the 6th through 9th Game Phases as stipulated in Section 6. In the event there is a tie for the Second Half-Season Prizes, the prize will be awarded to the user with the highest single Game Phase score. If a tie still exists, the prize will be awarded to the user with the second highest single Game Phase score, etc., until the tie is broken. If a tie still exists after all single Game Phase scores have been compared, the tie will be broken using the following criteria in this order: (i) total points scored by defenders in all Game Phases; (ii) total points scored by midfielders in all Game Phases; (iii) total points scored by forwards in all Game Phases; and (iv) total points scored by goalkeepers in all Game Phases. In the event that a tie still exists a random drawing will be held between the finalists. Odds of winning depend on your ability to select high performing players and the number of eligible entries received.

The Second Half-Season Winners will be notified by e-mail within ten (10) business days after the Second Half-Season Winners Determination Date. Winners will be required to respond to the attempted winner notification within two (2) business days of the date such notice was sent by Sponsor and, in such response, must confirm his/her full name, residential mailing address, phone number and date of birth to receive prize. Winners will be subject to verification. The failure to respond timely and completely to the winner notification (or failure to claim the prize) will result in forfeiture of the prize and Sponsor will select an alternative winner from among those remaining users in accordance with the selection process of this Section of these Official Rules. Any prize notification returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner from among those remaining users in accordance with the selection process of this Section of these Official Rules. By accepting the prize, winner grants permission to the Sponsor to use his/her name and/or likeness for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Best League Average: There will be one Best League Average Prize for the Overall Contest Period.
The Best League Average Prize will be awarded to the eligible registered users participating in the private league with the most average fantasy points per team based on the aggregate total of fantasy points from each registered user's best point totals for the Overall Contest Period. To be eligible for the Best League Average prize, a league must have a minimum of eight (8) teams. To be eligible for the Best League Average Prize all teams in the private league must have belonged to that league for at least one-half of the Overall Contest Period. In the event there is a tie for the Overall Prizes, the prize will be awarded to the league with the highest single Game Phase score. If a tie still exists, the prize will be awarded to the user with the second highest single Game Phase score, etc., until the tie is broken. If a tie still exists after all single Game Phase scores have been compared, the tie will be broken using the following criteria in this order: (i) total points scored by defenders in all Game Phases; (ii) total points scored by midfielders in all Game Phases; (iii) total points scored by forwards in all Game Phases; and (iv) total points scored by goalkeepers in all Game Phases. In the event that a tie still exists a random drawing will be held between the finalists. Odds of winning depend on your ability to select high performing players and the number of eligible entries received.
The Best League Average Prize will be determined on or about May 15, 2008 (the " Best League Average Prize Date"). The commissioner (that valid registered user who creates the private league) of the league that is the Best League Average Prize winner will be notified by e-mail within ten (10) business days after the Best League Average Prize Determination Date. Winners will be required to respond to the attempted winner notification within two (2) business days of the date such notice was sent by Sponsor and, in such response, must confirm his/her full name, residential mailing address, phone number and date of birth to receive prize. Winners will be subject to verification. The failure to respond timely and completely to the winner notification (or failure to claim the prize) will result in forfeiture of the prize and Sponsor will select an alternative winner from among those remaining users in accordance with the selection process of this Section of these Official Rules. Any prize notification returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner from among those remaining users in accordance with the selection process of this Section of these Official Rules. By accepting the prize, winner grants permission to the Sponsor to use his/her name and/or likeness for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. If requested by Sponsor, winner agrees to sign and return an Official.
Participation Prize
The Participation Prize will be awarded to five (5) eligible registered users drawn at random in recognition of their participation in the Overall Contest.
The Participation Prize will be determined on or about May 15, 2008 (the " Participation Prize Date"). The administrator of Participation Prize winners will be notified by e-mail within ten (10) business days after the Participation Prize Determination Date. Winners will be required to respond to the attempted winner notification within two (2) business days of the date such notice was sent by Sponsor and, in such response, must confirm his/her full name, residential mailing address, phone number and date of birth to receive prize. Winners will be subject to verification. The failure to respond timely and completely to the winner notification (or failure to claim the prize) will result in forfeiture of the prize and Sponsor will select an alternative winner from among those remaining users in accordance with the selection process of this Section of these Official Rules. Any prize notification returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner from among those remaining users in accordance with the selection process of this Section of these Official Rules. By accepting the prize, winner grants permission to the Sponsor to use his/her name and/or likeness for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. If requested by Sponsor, winner agrees to sign and return an Official.
9. PRIZES
Overall First Prize: There will be one (1) First Prize for the Overall Contest Period. First Prize will consist of the First Prize Winner's choice of either Two Thousand Five Hundred U.S. Dollars (US$2,500) in cash ("Cash"), OR a trip for two (2) people to an Barclay's PL match ("Trip"). The Trip consists of one (1), four (4) day, three (3) night trip for two (2), to London, England. The Trip will include: round trip coach-class airfare for two (2) to London, England, on an airline selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion, from the major commercial airport (with regularly scheduled passenger flights) closest to winner's primary U.S. residence (as of the date of registration for the Contest); three (3) nights hotel accommodations, at a hotel selected by Sponsor in its sole discretion, in London (one (1) room only - double occupancy, room and tax only); two (2) tickets to an BPL game to be played in the United Kingdom; and roundtrip ground transportation solely between the airport and hotel in London, England and between the hotel and the BPL game. All costs and expenses not specified above, including, but not limited to, rental car, ground-transportation costs other than as stated above, meals, hotel mini-bar, gratuities, incidentals, travel insurance, loss of usage, phone calls, security fees and all federal, state and/or local taxes, are the responsibility of the winner. Trip must be taken on dates and times specified by Sponsor. Travel is subject to availability and blackout dates, material restrictions may apply. If First Prize winner is a minor under any applicable state law, then the travelling companion must be his/her parent or legal guardian. Travelling companion may only be a minor if winner is his/her parent or legal guardian. If a winner is not available for travel on the dates specified by Sponsor, the First Prize may be forfeited and, in such case, an alternate winner may be selected (in Sponsor's sole discretion), in accordance with the relevant selection process of Section 8 of these Official Rules from the remaining eligible entries. No extension will be granted. Airline tickets, accommodations, ground transportation reservations and/or BPL game tickets are non-refundable for cash and non-changeable once issued. If winner loses any portion (including the Cash if selected as the First Prize) of the First Prize such lost portion will not be replaced. If winner does not use any portion of the airline tickets, accommodations/hotel reservations, ground transportation reservations, and/or BPL game tickets no other compensation for the unused portion of the tickets/accommodations/reservations, in whole or in-part, will be provided. Sponsors are not responsible for last-minute airline schedule changes or delays; unforeseen complications with hotel accommodations (including but not limited to reservation errors made by the airline or hotel); or unforeseen complications with BPL game tickets. Total Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") for each First Prize equals Two Thousand Five Hundred U.S. Dollars (US$2,500.00). Actual value may vary depending upon initial point of departure and actual location of BPL game.
Overall Second Prizes: There will be nine (9) Second Prizes for the Overall Contest Period The four (4) entrants with the 2nd-10th highest point totals at the conclusion of the Contest will receive a cash prize of U.S.$250.00. Total Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") for each First Prize equals Two Thousand Five Hundred U.S. Dollars (US$2,250.00).
Overall Third Prizes: The ten (10) entrants with the 11th-20th highest point totals at the conclusion of the Contest will receive a $50 voucher to FoxSoccerShop.com. The ARV for each prize: $50
Overall Fourth Prizes: The thirty (30) entrants with the 21st-50th highest total points at the conclusion of the Contest will receive a Fox Soccer Channel cap or stocking cap. ARV for each prize: $25

Mid-Season 6nd - 10th Prizes: The five (5) entrants with the 6nd-10th highest point totals from the beginning of the Contest through Game Phase 5 will receive a $50 voucher to FoxSoccerShop.com. ARV for each prize: $50

Second Half Prizes:

Best League Average
The league with the best average score at the end of the Overall Contest Period will be awarded a cash prize of Five Hundred U.S. Dollars. To be eligible for the Best League Average prize, a league must have a minimum of eight (8) teams. Prizes will awarded to the league administrator. Distribution of the prize amount league members is at the discretion of the league administrator. ARV for each prize: $500
Participation Prize
At the end of the contest, five (5) participants, drawn at random, will be awarded a participation prize of One Hundred U.S. Dollars. ARV for each prize: $500
No winner of any prize may assign or transfer their prize to another person. If any prize cannot be awarded for any reason due to circumstances beyond the control of the Sponsor, including (in the case of the Overall Prize) if the winner is not available for travel on the dates specified by Sponsor, the prize may be forfeited or substitute a prize of equal or greater retail value may be awarded in Sponsor's sole discretion. Winner is solely and exclusively responsible for any and all taxes that may be applied to their prize. No more than the listed prizes will be awarded. All prizes may not be awarded.
Total ARV for all prizes for the Overall Contest Period (including all Game Phase prizes and the Overall Prize) is Ten Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-Five U.S. Dollars (US$10,525.00).
10. SPORTSMANSHIP
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify and remove any user from the Contest if it is deemed by Sponsor that the user has exemplified conduct that in any way adversely affects another user's experience.
11. CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASES
Eligibility, age and all claims made by winners are subject to verification. Sponsors are not responsible for fraudulent e-mails/calls/mail sent to entrants by someone other than Sponsors. Prize winners may be required, in Sponsors' sole discretion, to complete, sign, have notarized and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance/Liability & Publicity Release Form, except where prohibited by law, within three (3) business days of winner's receipt of same. By accepting prize, winners consent to the use of their names, photographs and likenesses for advertising, trade and promotional purposes in all media without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. If a selected potential winner fails to comply with official rules and/or to submit required documentation within the designated period, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsors' sole discretion. By accepting prize, winners further acknowledge that Sponsors has neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied in fact or in law, relative to prize or prize suppliers or to any portion thereof, including but not limited to its quality, merchantability, mechanical condition, or fitness for a particular purpose.
12. ODDS
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received and on the knowledge and skill of the user.
13. GENERAL
By participating, users agree to be bound by these complete Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors, which shall be final, and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Contest and/or these Official Rules. All decisions made by Sponsors are final. Sponsors reserve the right to modify these Official Rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the Contest. Sponsors and their respective parent companies, trustees, subsidiaries, franchisees, affiliates, licensees, directors, general and limited partners, officers, employees, agents, independent contractors and advertising and promotional agencies make no warranties, express or implied, relative to the use or enjoyment of any prize or portions thereof, including without limitation, its quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. By entering the Contest and/or accepting prizes, entrants/prize winners agree to: (a) be bound by these rules; and (b) to hold harmless and fully release Sponsors and their respective parent companies, general and limited partners, trustees, subsidiaries, franchisees, affiliates, licensees, directors, officers, employees, independent contractors, advertising and promotion partners, fulfillment and/or judging agencies, retailers, franchises, and their agents (collectively "Releasees") from all liability, claims, action, or proceedings relating to the Contest and from injuries or damages arising in connection with or relating to participation in the Contest or from the acceptance, possession, quality, use or misuse of any prize or portion of any prize. All taxes and other expenses not specified herein, including federal, state, local, and departure, licenses and registrations, are the sole responsibility of the winners. Winners may be issued 1099 tax forms for the ARV of any awarded prizes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Sponsors and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotions agencies are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed inaccurate, misdirected, incomplete or unintelligible entries, telephone system or computer malfunctions, any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, lost connections, dis-connections, transmission errors, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; (ii) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the acceptance, possession or usage of any prize or from participating in the Contest; or (iii) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any material associated with the Contest. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend this Contest should a virus, bug, computer problem or other causes beyond Sponsors' control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Contest. Sponsors may prohibit any entrant from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in their sole discretion, they determine such entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, hacking deception, or any other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsors' representatives. In the case of a dispute, the winner will be deemed to be the person in whose name the email account or telephone service account is opened. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF SUCH ENTRANT AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY'S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. This Contest is a skill contest designed to increase consumer awareness of and interest in the Barclays English PL on the Fox Soccer Channel cable-television network and http://foxsoccer.msn.com. This Contest may not be used for any form of gambling.
14. REFUND POLICY
Users may request a full or partial refund of the purchase price at any time. However, once a team is drafted, it is STATS, Inc. policy to not return the fee paid to enter the Contest since your team has already been assigned players. All refund requests will be subject to administration discretion of STATS, Inc and all decisions shall be final.
15. LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, Releasees shall not be liable to winner or any other person for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulations(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond Sponsors' sole control. Releasees shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by the air carrier(s), hotel(s), or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services and accommodations to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. Furthermore, Releasees shall not be liable for any loss or damage to baggage.
16. UNFORESEEN EVENTS
If for any reason (including, but not limited to, strikes, lock-outs, acts of God, acts of war or terrorism, technical difficulties, and other events not within the reasonable control of Sponsors) any of the Sponsors cannot continue the Contest, then the Contest will not resume until the affected Sponsor resumes normal business, if ever. In the event that this Contest is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority (including but not limited to any federal or state governmental authority, Barclays PL or the BPL), Sponsors reserve the right to discontinue or modify the Contest, as applicable, or to disqualify entrants residing in any affected geographic areas, as applicable. In such event, Sponsors shall have no liability to any entrants who are disqualified due to such an action.
